Cookie policy

There is no cookie banner here because nothing on this site stores anything on your device — including the one measurement script we run. This page names it, and commits to what happens if that ever changes.

Current state. QualiPath sets no cookies, no local storage entries and no device identifiers, and neither does the one measurement tool we run. Nothing follows you between sessions, and nothing follows you between sites.

1. How the planner remembers anything

Your selections live in the page URL, in the address bar, for the length of your visit. That is what makes a result shareable and bookmarkable. Close the tab and it is gone: no copy stays behind on your device or on our side.

2. What our host may set

Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to route and secure requests. These are not used to profile you and cannot be used to identify you across other websites. Under the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary technology of this kind does not require consent.

3. The one measurement script we run

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages get read and how fast they load. It is a small script that reports page timing, and it is the only third-party script on this site.

It writes nothing to your device: no cookie, no local storage entry, no identifier. We verify that ourselves rather than take it on trust, and you can check it in one minute with your browser’s developer tools — the storage panel for this site is empty. Cloudflare states that it collects “the minimum amount of information — timing metrics” and that it “does not track individual end users across our customers’ Internet properties”. That is their claim about their own product, linked so you can read it in full and judge it yourself, which is the same standard we hold every other source on this site to.

There is no consent banner for it because consent under the ePrivacy Directive is triggered by storing or reading information on your device, and this script does neither. We consider a banner that asks permission for something that touches nothing to be theatre, and worse than useless: it trains people to click through the ones that matter.

4. Third-party embeds

Beyond that script, we do not embed advertising, social widgets, comment systems, chat popups, fonts loaded at request time from third parties, video players or A/B testing tools. Links to official authorities are ordinary links: nothing loads from those domains until you click.

5. If this ever changes

If we ever introduce measurement that stores anything on your device, or that could identify you, we commit to all of the following:

  • Asking for consent first, with refusal as easy as acceptance.
  • Naming the provider, the purpose and the retention period on this page.
  • Continuing to prefer cookieless, aggregate measurement wherever an option exists.
  • Updating the date at the top of this page on the same day the change ships.

6. Controlling storage yourself

Every major browser lets you block and delete cookies and site data. Because QualiPath does not depend on any of it, blocking everything will not break a single feature of the planner.
